One feed for a scattered ecosystem

Listened to hundreds of Discord servers and X accounts at once, and turned them into one feed of cards and a calendar.

What it was

Web3 projects announced everything in their own Discord servers and on X. Bluetags kept live WebSocket connections open to those servers and collected every post, then turned the stream into short news cards (Bluecards), project pages and an event calendar. I founded it, built it and launched it.

The problem

The same announcement arrives many times, rewritten, from different sources. A feed has to merge the copies without merging two pieces of news that only look alike, and it has to decide which project each post is about.

Under the hood

Re-creation of the problem with a standard method and synthetic data · not production code

Result

  • CVReached thousands of users through community-led distribution.

What carried forward

Reading what communities say at scale taught me how repetitive and noisy self-report is. Usercase puts it next to what people actually did.
